What is Talking Health Leadership?

Talking Health Leadership (THL) is a CPD-accredited leadership development programme designed specifically for mid-level managers in the NHS (recommended Band 6 – 8B). It is well suited to both clinical and non-clinical staff in a leadership position. Since its launch in 2025, THL has delivered a range of webinars and programmes, attracting nearly 1,000 delegates from NHS organisations across the country.

How is the programme structured?

Recognising the time pressures faced by NHS leaders, the programme is carefully structured to maximise impact while respecting delegates’ time commitments.

• The programme consists of five virtual sessions, each lasting 60 minutes.

• Immediately following each session, participants can join an optional 30-minute small group discussion to explore the topic in greater depth and apply insights in a more interactive setting.

• The programme culminates in a full-day, in-person conference in Central London, bringing together participants for networking, reflection, and inspiring conversations.

This format ensures that each session delivers value while creating space for peer learning and practical application—without overwhelming the diary.

 

What are the programme dates?

• March 2026 – August 2026: Five monthly virtual sessions

• September 2026: The programme concludes with an all-day, in-person conference
